I am a non-denominational wedding officiant. I perform traditional and same sex weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewal ceremonies within Tucson, Arizona and San Carlos, Mexico and beyond (trip fee added depending on driving distance and time commitment).

I am professional, experienced (I have now performed over 1,000 weddings in close to twelve years), articulate, efficient, very organized and offer an excellent service at a very reasonable rate.

I perform weddings because I truly love what I do and enjoy every experience offered to me!  â€‹â€‹I have a flexible schedule and can be available for "last minute" ceremonies.  My husband is also an officiant and a photographer. If you are also seeking a photographer we can offer you an excellent rate on a combined package.  Please view his website here.

I officiate weddings at the venue of your choice whether at your private home, park, court house, chapel, beach, hiking trail or resort or even virtually via Zoom, Skype, Face Time or the video platform you prefer. Please review my "venues" page for my preferred venues.

I also perform destination weddings outside of the United States in other beautiful destinations, perhaps on a beautiful beach in our paradise, Holbox Island or in San Carlos, Sonora (where we own a very unique home close to tbe beach!) or in the Yucatan, Mexico (where we own a rustic, old, farm house in a small country town!)

Having legal wedding ceremonies in other countries can include many obstacles. Other, easier options are to get married quick and easily at a local courthouse or attain your marriage license in the United States, have that signed and witnessed in the United States and then have your actual, symbolic, wedding ceremony in the destination of your dreams.

Hiring the perfect officiant is very important on YOUR wedding day.  You have many options at a variety of price ranges, so I prefer that you do as much research as you are able to including reading articles from the Huffington post and www.Brides.com about tips for selecting an officiant. Your research should include reading my review page and/or my blog post regarding choosing an officiant and/or speaking to my past couples. You may be able to find an officiant whose rate is lower than mine, but rest assured, their services will not meet the expert level of mine.

I always go a step beyond whenever necessary. I have experienced many weddings that lack coordination and have stepped in and assisted inclusive of our agreed rate for my officiating services. I am happy to plan a meeting with you in person or by Skype or Face time so that you can meet me and ask any questions you may have and see if my personality matches yours! Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience and  I want to make sure that you hire the BEST officiant to perform your wedding ceremony, one to represent you both on your very important day!

My rates are very reasonable and my services are superb. My rates range between $100 to $350 depending on the location of your wedding.   Rehearsal attendance, witness services and and travel outside of my immediate home areas are in addition to my rate range.  My rate depends on the location, amount of guests and size of your bridal party. Feel free to text, call or email me to get a rate quote.

My rate includes:

  • All communication including email, phone calls and electronic meetings.

  • Travel time to and from your wedding ceremony.

  • Customizing your wedding ceremony with you.

  • Performing your wedding ceremony.

  • Signing your marriage license and submitting the bottom portion of your marriage license into the courthouse.

  • A keepsake copy of your wedding ceremony and the upper portion of your marriage license in a folder.

I am happy to meet with you in person or by video (Skype/FaceTime/Zoom) although it is not necessary. The majority of my couples do not meet me until their rehearsal! There is a fee for in person meetings.

I do attend wedding rehearsals (encouraged, especially for venues without a coordinator and large bridal parties) to ensure that your wedding ceremony runs smoothly.  I charge a trip fee of usually $50  due to the additional trip (rate can be higher if your location is  a further drive for me from Marana, AZ).  Rehearsal attendance is based on my availability once you have advised me of the date/time of your rehearsal. Requesting my attendance when you booked my services does not guarantee my availability to attend your rehearsal until I confirm my attendance with you.

After over a decade of experience with a variety of Tucson area wedding venues, it is becoming more regular that some venues to not have coordinators.  I am now offering my expertise to also coordinate the ceremony and rehearsal at these venues for an additional fee. Your other options are to hire a day of coordinator to coordinate or have neither, I highly recommend that you opt for my services or a coordinator to assist.

Up to a year prior to getting married you will need to obtain your Arizona marriage license. Your marriage license will be reviewed by either of us prior to your wedding ceremony. Your marriage license will be signed by both the bride and groom. your two witnesses over 18 years of age and your officiant. If you do not have two witnesses available, I can provide those for you for a fee per witness.

You can now obtain a marriage license in several locations. For all the license application details, please click on the link of the location below that you wish to attain your license from.

If you live in Arizona or another state and want to apply for your marriage license online and by mail instead of applying in person, you can do that through:

Once you decide to book any my services, I will send you a confirmation letter, not a contract, with details about your wedding and the agreed rate. Please review the details here.  Once you decide to book either of our services, We will confirm our service with you and request a 50% deposit. Once the deposit is received (payment methods are Zelle or cash app).  The balance for our services is due a week prior to your wedding by these same methods or in cash at your rehearsal. If you cancel my services, your deposit is non-refundable.  If you request to book my services and I sent your confirmation letter to you and I do not receive your deposit after a second reminder, your wedding ceremony is NOT confirmed with me and it will be removed from my calendar.  If  there is a lack of communication on the side of the couple, after multiple attempts from me to make contact, your wedding will no longer be confirmed.

The next step is fully customizing your wedding ceremony.  The process starts with me emailing templates to you based on your interest for your wedding ceremony.  If you are not sure what type of ceremony you want, no worries!  I will send you wedding ceremony, vow and reading samples. We then work together to create your perfect ceremony.
