I am British and have lived in the United States for over forty years spending over twenty years in the beautiful, Tucson desert. I still have a refreshing British accent, which is often complimented! I was mentioned in BBC America's "10 British things in Tucson" and I am #7!

I have double credentials for wedding officiating.  There are two reasons I became a wedding officiant:

 

First, and most importantly, I had lost faith in ever falling in love and finding my true match because of the catastrophic outcome of my first marriage. At a potluck almost years almost eighteen years go, completely unexpectedly, I met the love of my life, whom I now refer to as my prince. My prince is an amazing father to my three adult daughters and an incredible husband.  Our love inspired me to become an officiant/minster so that  I could marry others and carry over the love to them.

Secondly, when I was in High School in Northern California, because my teachers really liked my British accent, I was always asked to speak in front of the class.  By the time I was ready to graduate from High School I had a complex about public speaking. So, I also decided to become an officiant to improve my public speaking skills.  I must say I have improved above and beyond my expectations!
